Baltimore Eggnog (‘cause I’m  from Baltimore Y’all.)
  2 quarts store bought eggnog
  1 pint brandy
  1/2 pint light rum
  1/2 pint peach brandy
   Nutmeg

Some may tell you to beat a dozen eggs and what not, but who has time for that. Stir brandies and rum into eggnog. Chill. Serve topped with nutmeg.

Every year my friends and I discuss the difference between Wassail and mulled wine. Well friends here ya go:

Wassail
1 gallon apple cider
27 whole cloves
8 cinnamon sticks
1 quart pineapple juice
6 ounces orange juice

Mix all ingredients in a large pot and simmer. Serve hot.

Mulled Wine
1 1/2 c. Boiling water
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 lemon, sliced
3 sticks cinnamon
3 whole cloves
1 bottle Burgundy or other red inner wine
Nutmeg

Reduce heat on water. Stir in ingredients (except nutmeg). Simmer for 20 minutes. Do not boil. Serve topped with nutmeg.
